A Lampshade Style for 2015
Gathered shades using Ikat fabric’s, these I love, there are so many colour combinations that can be mixed around. By using the warm shades of Orange/Red fabrics and complementing with a similar colours for the lining.
This Lampshade makes a stunning accent light, and creates a glorious warm glow in the evening.
The Ikat lampshade above is one of my favourites , the fabric is a combination of silk and cotton mix. I find that Ikat fabric works well with the gathered technique and gives a luxurious feel to the shade.
